Mendi is defined by her attention to perfection in every detail of her work, whether it be Makeup, Photography, Fashion Design, and total Wedding Events. Anything that Mendi has a passion for she puts her entire heart and soul into every aspect of her work.
Mendi was majoring in art at the University of Utah, when she moved to Laguna Bach, California and started her painting career. Clinique then asked her if she was interested in painting on faces. Mendi's response was, "let me try it and see if I have a passion for it." That day changed her life forever! It was like painting Three D. Changing women's perception of themselves. Letting all women know that they are beautiful inside and out. While working with Clinique, Mendi won their National "Makeup and Sales Award" for her first year of painting on women's faces.
Lancôme took Mendi to the next level by asking her to be their National Artist. Traveling and working with their top models on every photo shoot through out the world and having every magazine with Mendi's makeup work in it. Mendi said, "It was an incredible honor." Eight years of working with the most incredible and beautiful women, she has ever known and admired. Mendi took the next step to further her career and learned to be a professional behind the camera as well. Giving her twenty years of experience in the beauty industry. This lead to the path she is on today.
While based out of Los Angles her one and only true love came and asked her to marry him and move back to Utah. She never had anticipated she would ever agree to this after working so hard for her career. As every woman knows you only have one chance for the perfect love of your life asking this question. It took two years to make this life changing choice.
She married the love of her life, moved back to Utah. Mendi then made a very courageous decision and started her own company. That was the beginning of, "The Final Touch By Mendi." Ready to change the beauty industry, as Utah perceives it. Changing how makeup and photography run side-by-side creating a perfect vision thru the camera. Giving you the vision of your dreams.
She knew women needed to work as a team, which is unusual in this business. She interviewed people until she created the most well oiled team of professionals she could find through out the country.
She still travels extensively and works with every top fashion magazine and top models. Mendi loves and respects the companies and people that have her under contract and will not disclose any information about her international contracts.
When you meet Mendi she will listen and get to know you. Answer all the questions you have always wanted to know, and then create what you have always dreamed of. She will also draw you a map of how to recreate your look with step-by-step instructions. All the way from taking proper care of the most important part of your body (your skin) to the last detail of applying makeup that lasts all day, and is thoroughly tested to be safe and good for your skin. Mendi has over twenty years of experience working with and creating skin care and makeup with high-end makeup and skin care companies.

Mendi requires a $50.00 consultation fee before you come into the most magical of destinations for all your beauty needs. Please read thru her menu before making your appointment. Mendi has a very full book and would like to address every question you might have. Please be prepared when coming to an appointment with ideas of how you dream of looking and how you would like your hair to be. Bring photos of hair looks you desire. Mendi's team can create any hairstyle you would like without using hairpins. That means no pain for you and a very sexy style when taken down. Take the time to look through Mendi's Portfolio. Mendi does not believe in photo shopping your photographs. When makeup and hair are done correctly there is no need for photo shopping. Mendi is totally upfront with her pricing, no hidden fees ever. Remember if you want the best you must pay for the best. Mendi believes in a no stress motto when it comes to you and her. Mendi wants to make her clients as happy as she possibly can, but changes after the contract is signed will be an additional fee per change. Mendi has demanded this because every change cost her and her team time and money.
After The La Caille show Mendi will be changing her company name to MEN-DI for you! To honor Men-di's fabulous mother who named her after an African Chief, because of his strength in leading his tribe against all odds. Her mother admired him greatly because of what he stood for. This is something MEN-DI as always tried to live up to.
Her mother has passed on to a happier place and always wanted Men-di to use her real name always no matter what men thought. Men-di knows her mother is smiling and happy with this decision and Men-di is smiling and happy too! Men-di is looking forward to having you as her client and long time friend!
